GaBriKaoS is an Italian musician, DJ and producer who has been doing his thing since 1983. He took advantage of the downtime created by the lockdown of 2020 to produce some brand new electronic music. By any measure the experiment has been a tremendous success.
He made his debut in June with the singles “Euforia” and “Praiahouse.” He followed with the singles “For Your Dream” and “Energy of EDM.” Each song now counts its streaming numbers in the tens of thousands. But his biggest success was yet to come.
On October 20 GaBriKaoS released his first collaboration with Italian-English singer, Myriam Cavalli. Their Electro-Pop/EDM song “Vicious Circle” was an immediate hit online, quickly racking up tens of thousands of spins. To date, the producer has reached millions of listeners across multiple platforms. We chatted with him about the single, his history and everything he has planned for the future.

The Static Dive: Where are you from?
GaBriKaoS: I’m from Catanzaro in Calabria Italy
SD: How long have you been making music?
GK: I started to be a musician and DJ in 1983 even if my debut as a DJ producer dates back to June 2020. In the last six months I have produced three remixes of old songs EUFORIA- FOR YOUR DREAM and Energy of edm, and two new songs PRAIAHOUSE and VICIOUS CIRCLE with singer Myriam Cavalli.
SD: Who are your biggest musical influences?
GK: Well having lived in full the magic of the 80s 90s 00 surely I am influenced by these sounds. I really like David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Mario Fargetta but also unknown and talented artists that I promote on my playlist on Spotify which has about 12k followers
SD: What is your greatest non-musical influence?
GK: Well, surely themes like love and friendship and certainly politics which for me should be a moment of positive encounter between men of good will to solve the problems of the community.
SD: What inspired you to create this project?
GK: The lockdown period and the desire to give a positive meaning to this terrible 2020. It is a year I will certainly remember for the many griefs generated by the covid pandemic, but also for my recording debut and my 4.8 million listeners in 89 countries around the world and particularly in America.
SD: What are your plans for the future (musically)?
GK: My current project still sees me busy with the talented Myriam Cavalli for a new song BIG SPACE which should be released in early 20121

GK: I love all my fans and I hug them strongly one by one
