We first heard from Min the Universe in January upon the release of his wildly creative single “Westworld Reanimated.” On that track he created a unique hybrid sound of EDM beats and cinematic theme music by remixing and reimaging Ramin Djawadi’s iconic Main Title Theme from the HBO show “Westworld.”
“Instant Decays” is the latest single from Min the Universe, released worldwide to all major streaming platforms on February 19, 2021. Once again, Min is blurring the lines between music genres and norms. The new track is a collaboration with industrial synth metal producer Without A Chord. The two producers create a wild sound that combines the Yin of Min the Universe’s vibrant EDM vibe with the Yang of Without A Chord’s dark world of aggressive and skull-crushing sound design and lead vocals.
Min the Universe is an emerging electronic music producer and DJ based in New York City with influences in house, progressive house, pop, techno and beyond. Without A Chord combines a vicious blend of baroque, metal and dance music for his uniquely sinister sound. The collaboration was borne through the two artists’ involvement in the New York Topliner Camp, a leading incubator for NYC’s rising songwriters and producers.
