Paul Alexander Low has appeared on The Static Dive a number of times over the past year. In 2020, the talented singer/songwriter cut the cord that tied him to a life in the corporate world and dove into his dream. We have followed along on this journey as he reached fans across the globe with his deeply personal and heartwarming brand of Indie-Folk, Alt/Pop songs.
In that time Paul has released a series of singles as well as the six song EP, “Hell Yeah.” Now the prolific artist is working on his debut full-length album “Sunshine After the Rain,” due later this year. “Shine” is the first single from the album and it is a song for our times. Written during the first lockdown of 2021, “Shine” is Paul Alexander Low’s emotional new anthem inspired by and dedicated to those who have worked tirelessly on the front lines during the global pandemic.
I was left in awe over the risk and sacrifice frontline workers faced in fighting the pandemic.

The track features Paul Alexander Low’s signature 90’s inspired Pop/Rock vibe. A Percussive rhythm meets a mix of guitar, piano and strings for this emotional and inspirational anthem. Well-known session musicians Jeremy Stacey (Noel Gallagher, Robbie Williams & Ryan Adams) and Simon Johnson (Tom Jones, James Morrison, Lana Del Ray) join Paul on the track. However, the singer’s own soulful and sincere vocal is the star of the show.
