Lorelei Roux is an American songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist producer. Having grown up in a musical family, the 44 year-old artist has been creating since childhood. Over the years she has served in the United States Marines, started a family and launched a career in Information Technology. However, music was there through each phase of her life. From high school to the present, she maintained an active role in multiple musical projects.
In 2021 Lorelei Roux is embarking on a new creative endeavor as a solo recording artist. On October 15 she released her debut single “Unstoppable” to all major streaming services. The downtempo instrumental mixes classic Trip-hop vibes with a laid-back modern Chill-Hop beat to create a hypnotic and transformative mood.
“Unstoppable” rolls on a Lo-fi downbeat groove. Electronic and organic instruments paint a rich tapestry of sound over a chill beat. Ambient synths and strings paint the edges of the mix as a series of acoustic instruments play the song’s central melodic theme. The piece is a beautiful introduction to a very talented artist.
