Chronos X is the professional name of emerging independent Hip-hop artist, Easton Connor from Tampa, Florida. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with a series of singles released first to SoundCloud. He dropped his first wide-distribution release “Get Away” in August of last year. Since then the prolific artist has dropped a half dozen new tracks on multiple streaming platforms, as well as three official music videos.
“6FT” is the latest single from Chronos X, released worldwide to YouTube on October 29, 2021. A Heavy Metal guitar riff introduces the track. The rapper enters the mix, making the premise of the tracks clear with the opening line, “Pardon me, but fuck your feelings.” Soon a hard Trap beat drops, and its on.
In the song’s video we find Chronos X imprisoned in an asylum by a crew of ominous characters in Guy Fawkes and horror movie masks. Meanwhile, their vampire toothed inmate delivers a hardcore rap testimonial about his own innate beastliness. It’s a great horror fantasy set to Hard 808 beat and some serious Metal energy.
