Beepex (aka JK) is a YouTuber, professional gamer, singer and songwriter from Manchester, United Kingdom. Although he has an impressive resume, he is relatively new on the scene. However, that lack of experience is merely a circumstance of the young influencer’s age. JK is only 8 years-old.
Over the past year Beepex has established a wide-reaching presence online. Through social media, his website and of course his YouTube channel he has created a full multimedia brand around his fun take on gaming sites, with a focus on Roblox, Minecraft and especially Fortnite. The talented young man has now added Pop artist to his list of accomplishments.
“Fortnite Lights (Blinding Lights)” is the debut single from Beepex, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 29, 2021. The track is a reinterpretation of the Weeknd’s smash hit “Blinding Lights.” Musically the single stays faithful to the original’s Synthwave/Synth-Pop vibe. 80’s keys ride a driving retro drum machine beat as JK rallies others to join him on his harrowing Fortnite adventures.
Accompanying the single is the EDM remix “Fortnite Squad.” It’s a real banger, more so than a song about a video game probably should be.
