Pascal Dennis is a man of many passions. A professional engineer and management consultant by day, he is also an author who has published five business novels and a book of poems. When Pascal steps away from his desk, he straps on a guitar. In addition to his many accomplishments in business, Dennis is a prolific singer/songwriter.
In recent years the Toronto-based musician has written over 100 songs. He has produced two albums of original material as well as a string of singles since 2021. With roots in Jazz, Blues and classic Pop, Pascal Dennis writes songs about his city, family and his own life experience.
“Blues in the Morning” is the brand new single from Pascal Dennis, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 4, 2022. The song follows the singer on a globe-hopping trip. He travels from Brooklyn to Belize, trying unsuccessfully to shake the blues.
The singer delivers his tale in a series of clever rhymes, alliterations and a healthy dose of intentional silliness. Meanwhile, a crack ensemble of guitar, bass, drums, keys and horns lays down smokin’ hot Chicago Blues jam. The performances are excellent throughout, including some particularly nice lead guitar.
