We first heard from Nikitta in November of 2020 upon the release of her single “White Bird.” That track introduced readers of The Static Dive to an award-winning singer/songwriter from the United Kingdom who recently returned to the music world after a long hiatus.
Nikitta’s career in music got an early start in a big way when she appeared on the popular UK talent show X Factor when she was just 17 years-old. After that she dove into London’s hot music scene, working with cutting edge Hip-hop, Pop and Dance artists. However, personal responsibilities drove Nikitta to move back home to Manchester for a few years to focus on her family. Since her return, Nikitta has released three singles and connected with fans around the world.
“Ground” is the powerful new single from Nikitta, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 29, 2022. Floating on an ethereal Synthwave cloud, the singer delivers this loving ode of admiration with her signature mix of R&B soul and Alternative cool. Ambient synths, piano and a downtempo beat set the scene for the singer’s soulful and emotional performance.
