Jillantii is an emerging independent singer, songwriter, rapper and producer who first started making music in 2019. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “On Me.” That track introduced Jonathan Hall, a multi-talented young artist from Newburgh, New York with a soulful and genre-defying sound.
When he first got down to making music, Jillantii’s plan was to become a producer for other artists. However, once started kicking out beats he soon realized that he had even more to offer as an artist. So he stepped to the mic and started making records. Since his debut, the prolific producer has released ten singles and three albums. He has connected with fans around the world on hits like “Peekaboo” and “Can’t Lie to Me.”
“Throw it” is the current single from Jillantii’s latest album A Method To The Madness, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 23, 2022. Citing the influence of artists like Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Bryson Tiller and Kanye West, Jonathan creates a fluid vibe that incorporates elements of r&b, hip-hop and pop. A cool analog synth bass rides the track’s Latin-infused hip-hop groove while syncopated percussion and horns create a great soca vibe for this feel-good club jam.
