Jubilingo is a blues-infused rock quartet who have been entertaining Denver’s hippie populace since 2015. They made their recording debut in 2020 with their self-titled 9-song album. That record introduced the world to a Colorado original with a sound built on the great traditions of classic rock, southern soul with Colorado jam-band sensibilities
The band consists of incendiary Georgia-native vocalist/keybaordist Jessica Holloway, six-string virtuoso Keith Hicks, bassist and trumpeter Matt Rossman and drummer/percussionist Jake Herman on the skins. Over the years they have shared the stage with luminaries such as Marcus King, Jerry Joseph, Jeff Austin, Joey Porter, and The New Orleans Suspects. They have traveled across their home state, playing classic venues like Cervantes (Denver), Shakedown Bar (Vail), Schmiggity’s (Steamboat Springs), Quixote’s (Denver) and many others.
“Lit Up” is the brand new single from Jubilingo, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 9, 2022. Backed by an ensemble of bass, drums, guitar, piano and organ, Jessica Holloway steps to the mic with a soulful ultimatum for her lover. The band lays down a classic Chicago-style shuffle as Jessica’s blues-howl trades lines with Keith Hicks’s searing lead guitar.
