Louis王路易 is a veteran musician and producer who made his solo professional recording debut in 2022 with the single “在你走後 Aftermath”. However, his musical journey began years earlier, when he wrote his first songs at just 10 years old. The young artist found refuge in music.
Born in France to French and Chinese parents, Louis王路易 grew up in Shenzhen and Beijing. He would eventually attend and graduate from the prestigious Berklee School of Music with a degree in Music Business. Fluent in French, Mandarin Chinese and English, he now lives in Hong Kong where he works in the financial industry by day, and by night writes and records original Mandarin pop music and covers of his favorite Western artists.
“Lost” is the brand new single and video from Louis王路易, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 19, 2023. The track is a cover of the recently released ‘Lost’ song from alt-rock/nu-metal pioneers Linkin Park. A melancholy solo piano opens the tune as the singer steps to the mic for a subdued and emotional performance of the late Chester Bennington’s lonely cry for salvation. As the track progresses, ambient synths and anthemic drums build the production to a cinematic climax.
