Haiku Logic is the second single from my forthcoming album Samsara Blues, which will drop this summer. The first single, No King in no Castle continues to receive international airplay.
The new tune is a mix of different sounds I’ve previously experimented with over the years. A funky trip-hop groove meets live jazz percussion, bass guitar, Zen haiku’s, and some chilled blues guitar.

Remover of Obstacles
My son Lela creates all The Static Dive artwork. For Haiku Logic, I asked him to draw a new interpretation of an elephant sculpture which he created as a child. The little statue lives in my studio. I call him Ganesh. As soon as I got the sketch, I knew we had our Hindu god of wisdom.

I shoot my arrow
at the open sky, I can’t
miss, so I don’t mind
Paddle my boat in
the summer sun, wasting hours
till the day is done
