Jason James Casha Rocks Isolation On The New ISO2020

Jason James Casha has had enough of 2020 and the apocalyptic plagues it has wrought upon us. Like the rest of us, Jason is going stir crazy with cabin fever, and legitimately crazy from anxiety. Unlike most people however, Casha is able to channel all of that angst into song. He is a talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. And he did exactly that.

ISO2020 is Jason’s answer to everything this hellish year has to offer the world. On the track, Casha rages against the COVID machine. We all know exactly how he feels when he opens the song with the lines, “Will they find an antidote? I’m scratching walls, I gotta get out. Isolation & locks on doors, I’m trapped between these four walls.”

Fortunately, despite the dire premise, the song turns the doom and gloom into a raging rocker. The track is one part arena glam-rock and one part modern Punk. With crunching power chords and a classic Rock & Roll rhythm, the vibe on ISO2020 lands somewhere between Green Day and Blue Cheer, with just a pinch of 80’s hairband. All the while Jason has a bit of lyrical fun with our collective stress.

What makes ISO2020 all the more impressive is the fact that Jason James Casha is not just the frontman of the band. He is the band. Jason plays every instrument on the track and sings all of the vocals. The song’s official video cleverly plays up that fact by depicting Casha performing as every member of a live band.
