Darcy’s Fault With a Cool and Creepy Stalker

Darcy’s fault is an Alternative Rock band from the city of Fulda in Hesse, Germany. The group was formed in 2014 by Stephie Heil (Vocals und Bass) and Mario Heil (Guitar and Vocals) as a singer/songwriter duo. They released their first album “High Card” in 2017. The twelve song acoustic collection introduced the group’s unique mix of Pop, Blues and Rock & Roll.

In 2019 the duo became a trio, when Heiko “Pinky” Koch joined the ensemble on the drums. Since then the band has been generating quite a buzz in their region. They won the “Local Heroes Hesse” award for 2019. In the same contest Stephie won the “Best Voice” award. Their newfound momentum has also resulted in new music. So far in 2020 they have released two new singles on all major streaming platforms. The band is now looking to carry their local success to a larger, international audience.

“Stalker” is the latest single from Darcy’s Fault, released August 14, 2020. The song is a dark examination of the mind of a man obsessed with his lost love, told from the stalker’s perspective. Over a slow 90’s Alternative inspired beat, Stephie sings a first person message from the antagonist to his victim. As the track progresses, the volume and intensity increases and the Heil’s trade vocals. It is an unsettling vibe, and that is the point.
