Chidi Digital is a UK based DJ and producer, known for his own eclectic instrumental releases as well as some high profile collaborations. An active member of the UK RnB, Neo Soul and Hip-Hop scenes, his previous credits include tracks with Rebecca Hoodless and UK Hip-Hop Supergroup KingDem. The South London native has been making beats for 10 years and debuted as a solo artist in 2018 with the track, “Break Out Da Funk.”
“Flamboyant” is Chidi Digital’s latest single, released November 6, 2020. The track is a collaboration with London based UK rapper and spoken word artist Artcha. Artcha is part of the Club Frshrz music group. Artcha rhymes over a chill, downtempo old school Hip-hop beat about style, fashion and the importance of individuality. Meanwhile, Chidi paints the scenery with the ethereal colors of psychedelic guitar and ambient keys. It is a smooth sound, and a lot of fun.
“Flamboyant” was inspired by wanting to provide an uplifting vibe and return to the days of positive subtle bragging raps whilst injecting fun and clever wordplay.
