B Santos is the professional name of Brandon Dominique Santos, an aspiring hip-hop artist hailing from McAllen, Texas. A lover of music at an early age, he soon found his calling in Rap. Throughout school he honed his skills, even as he studied Radio, Television, and Film at The University of Texas.
Brandon made his debut in 2019 with the seven track EP, “Sundown,” showcasing his versatile style with a sound that is sometimes edgy and at others playful. Since the album’s release he has embarked on a number of projects including launching a collaborative Hip-hop label. And now, he has dropped his first single of 2020.
“Frosty Freestyle” is the latest single from B Santos, released December 11, 2020. The track is a great mix of new-school and old-school style. At its heart the track is a traditional freestyle jam. Santos has a smooth flow, even when dropping rapid fire lines. The production is modern, with Trap hi-hats and a bouncing Reaggaeton bass. But the 808 sounds also tie the song back to rap’s freestyle origins. It’s a great sound.
