JBadge x Nef The Pharaoh x Steez – Pain Music

Jbadge is a Hip-hop artist from the city of Fairfield in Northern California. He first arrived on the scene four years ago with a handful of tracks on SoundCloud. Since then he has dropped a steady series of releases on multiple platforms. In 2019 he made his debut on all major streaming services with the EP, “Jbadge Exc.” Since then, the prolific artist has dropped an impressive string of singles. He now counts his streaming numbers in the tens of thousands.

“Pain Music” is his latest single, released worldwide December 24, 2020. On the track the artist has teamed up with frequent collaborator Steez and popular Bay Area rapper, Nef The Pharaoh. The song has a dark and dramatic vibe as it rolls on slow Trap beat with bouncing Reggaeton-style bass hits. Lowkey piano and guitar chords and a Jazz saxophone create the noir feel of a dimly lit city street.

In a lyrical narrative the rappers relay stories from their neighborhood. Stylistically they mix it up with melodic rap, old-school flow and modern autotune rhymes.
