Michael Bryce is a singer, songwriter and actor who very literally found his voice through music. As a child he rarely spoke. Raised by a deaf mother, he grew up communicating almost exclusively via American Sign Language (ASL). From a very young age, music was his virtual gateway to the world of speech and sound.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, Michael Bryce is now twenty five years-old and living in Los Angeles. He is a working actor signed to Sovereign Talent Group talent agency. He has remained active in the music world as well and on January 1st, 2021 he launched his career as a professional musician with the release of his debut single to all major streaming services.
“Pleasure in Pain” is a cool and darkly erotic track. Stylistically the song mixes elements of Rock, Rap and downtempo EDM. Retro synth bass tones swell into a sparse and dramatic beat. Bryce delivers his vocal track with a perfect Modern Rock delivery. He sings a tale of bondage and sexual dominance with a powerful and unsettling matter-of-fact style. Subtle guitars and synths float in the periphery of the mix, adding to the sense of foreboding. In the second verse the singer breaks into an excellent fast chopping rap with a technique and flow on par with the best of Hip-Hop.
