Posthouse Tuomi’s Defiantly Powerful “Animal”

Posthouse Tuomi is the professional name of the Finnish music production duo of Tuomas Pitkänen and Mika Hamed. The group was founded in 2011 when the two joined forces to write original music for commercials, games and trailers. Since their inception the team has connected with millions of listeners and viewers on different media outlets worldwide.

“Animal” is the latest single from Posthouse Tuomi, released on December 25, 2020 to all major streaming services and media outlets. The track is a collaboration born of the current global health crisis. Pitkänen and Hamed joined forces with an international team of musicians, working remotely to contribute to the track. The Modern Rock song’s defiant tone and high energy intensity reflect mankind’s perseverance and power in the face of an existential threat.

Riding on a Heavy Metal groove, “Animal” packs an emotional and sonic punch. Hardcore double kick Speed Metal drums drive the rhythm as intricate interwoven guitar and bass riffing create an intense mix of Alternative, Screamo and Emo Rock. American guest vocalist Joe Marks (Polar Night, Lucient Veil) delivers a powerful performance. He sings, screams and howls defiant lyrics about facing and overcoming an imposing force.
