We first heard from Boaty Blanco when he appeared on The Static Dive in November, upon the release of his single “Randy Savage.” That track was a short, fun Trap groove on which Boaty (aka Brandon Synoraski) showed off some mad skills and really clever wordplay. It was a rap track for rap fans, and it was a good time.
Boaty Blanco’s personal story has not been as lighthearted. At one time, drugs and fast living nearly took his life. He has cleaned up his act and he is looking back. The saddest memories are those of the loved ones who have passed. So many young people never make it out the other side of drug addiction. On his new song, Boaty sings in memory of his best friend Frank “Connor” Cundro, who didn’t make it.
“All Love” is Boaty Blanco’s latest single, released on December 15, 2020. The song is a heartbreaking and beautiful story set to an equally soulful beat. Boaty raps a sort of “report from down here” to his lost friend. We can feel the pain in his voice as tells his friend that he has kicked drugs and straightened his life out. As he tells happy stories from their past, it’s clear that this tragedy can happen to anyone. And it does.
The rapper is joined by the smoky R&B vocals of Callie Cundro. She delivers a deeply soulful and sincere performance. Producer GC Beats pairs this powerfully personal song with slow and funky acoustic groove. At the heart of the backing track is an infectiously cool guitar riff. The warm wooden sound of the hollow body is exactly the right organic tone for this intensely human song.

When I wrote this song I had Frank on my mind .. now that it’s here I have so many different emotions. This song is for anyone who’s ever been affected by addiction. All the families – friends – and addicts themselves. This one’s for you.
