Josiah Rodda’s New Country Parable “Regret”

Josiah Rodda is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Childersburg, a small town in central Alabama. He first picked up the guitar as a teenager and has been dedicated to his craft ever since. The prolific songwriter debuted in 2018 with his EP, “The Sound of Josiah Rodda.” Since then he has dropped a steady string of singles, EPs and the full length album  “Groundbreaking” in 2019.

“Regret” is a single from Josiah Rodda’s 2020 “Revamped” EP. The song is a classic Country Folk parable. Through three verses he runs he runs scenarios of vengeful women settling the score with the men who have done them wrong. In every circumstance, it ends poorly for the men. With a smooth and soulful southern tenor Josiah sings, “She’ll take her time to get even. It’s not a fair fight.”

Josiah fought a hard road to get to where he is today. Growing up in foster care until he was adopted at the age of 8, music served as a catharsis and an escape. His art has helped him through some dark times, and now he hopes to help others do the same.

God has blessed me with a gift of music and I’m honored to be able to showcase my life and other people’s experiences  with my music
