98 Warboy is the professional name of aspiring Hip-hop artist, Christopher West. The Chicago, Illinois native has been making music for about two years. He made his international debut in 2020 with the 6 song EP, Poison Ivy. The record was the first step for a rapper with big plans. He eventually plans to start his own record label. First though, West is focused on making his own music.
What inspired me to make “Poison Ivy” is motivation. I always push myself to make the best music ever.

“Love Me Like a Birkin,” is the current single from 98 Warboy’s “Poison Ivy.” The track finds the emcee dropping bars over mellow Trap beat. After opening with low 808 bass hits and the unmistakable Trap hi-hats, soon ambient piano arpeggios float into the mix, soaked in reverb. The rapper enters the track with tales from the neighborhood as he tells his girl to love him like she loves her designer handbag. He has cool laid back flow that matches the trippy downtempo beat perfectly.
