Denis Burbach is an up and coming Blues, Rock and Soul artist from Germany. He started playing at just 10 years-old, inspired by his grandfather and driven by an innate skill and desire to make music. The young musician found an early aptitude for multiple genres. He made his professional debut in 2020 with the instrumental single “Before You Go.” That track showcased both Denis’ impressive stylistic range as well as his significant guitar chops.
“Too Late” is the latest single from Denis Burbach, released worldwide to all major streaming services on February 5, 2021. The song opens with a little Lo-fi guitar before the rhythm section joins in for a nice Indie Rock groove. As the instrumental track progresses, the mix expands. First a solo lead guitar plays a soaring upper-register melody. Then additional layers of guitar are gradually and subtly added to organically build the arrangement.
Denis drops an octave for a few blues licks before a hint of harmonized guitars ushers in a funky slap bass break in the bridge. He then transitions smoothly into the song’s final act in which the guitarist pulls off some more nice soloing over a powerful Alternative Rock vibe. Ultimately Denis eases the track back to a lof-fi Indie Rock groove, leaving us where he found us.
