Elise Lieberth’s Powerful New Single “Live In Peace”

Elise Lieberth is a singer/songwriter with the courage to explore some dark corners of her emotional past, and the talent to connect with like minded souls through her music. Just over ten years ago she began publishing YouTube videos of her original and cover song performances. That started the singer on a wild rollercoaster ride of viral videos and hit songs. Now with a brand new record deal in her pocket she is ready to take on 2021.

The Colorado native first gained widespread attention in 2010 when her “We Are the World” collaboration with YouTube sensation Tyler Ward went viral. Since then she has enjoyed tremendous success on her own. She had a Top 20 iTunes hit with her cover of Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out For a Hero.” And then in 2020 her cover of Orianthi’s “According to You” went viral on TikTok. Meanwhile she became a YouTube sensation of her own with over 25K subscribers and her songs on Spotify count their streaming numbers in the millions.

As a songwriter, Elise Lieberth infuses her original Pop/Country music with personal narratives and inspirational stories about growth, healing and perseverance. With a pile of new songs on the way she is heading into 2021 with plenty of momentum. She recently signed a deal with Loud Mouth Records. and is releasing new original music every 6 weeks, along with a few covers for good measure.

“Live in Peace” is the latest single from Elise Lieberth, released February 12, 2021. The song is an emotional Pop/Country examination of the singer’s complicated relationship with her recently deceased father. She is open and honest about the trauma she endured as his daughter and the lyrics here reflect the difficult mixed emotions she felt at his passing. As she exorcises demons from the past, she offers an honest explanation to his ghost. “I promise I’m not trying to steal your glory, or drag your name through the blackest of mud. I’m just down here trying to keep your coffin shut.”

Just because someone dies, it doesn’t mean the hurt and the pain they caused dies with them and it is OK to work through those pains, it is OK to share your story and it is important to do, so you can truly heal and live in peace.

Musically, the song is a perfect Pop/Country Nashville nugget, with Christopher Bloom producing and Justin Weaver (The Chicks) delivering a beautiful tapestry of acoustic and electric guitars.
