Cra Raccs is an aspiring Hip-hop artist from the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn. The up and coming New York City rapper started dropping tracks on SoundCloud about a year ago. His first two singles (“Breesh” & “Hollow”) were slow-rolling, downbeat Trap grooves. On his new song, he’s changing up his style and reaching a wider audience.
In 2021 Cra Raccs is making his debut on all streaming services, dropping a brand new song and a whole new sound. “Everyday” is the latest single from Cra Raccs, released worldwide on January 29, 2021. The rapper is kicking up the tempo considerably on the new track. Along with the faster beat he is bringing some impressive technique.
An orchestral violin section introduces the song and sets the vibe with anxious staccato 16th note arpeggios. After a brief calm before the storm, Cra Raccs enters the mix with a rapid-fire syncopated hard rap. He drops rhymes about business, women and weed with a mind-blowing precision.
The pace never slows, though the rapper does cleverly change up the rhythm occasionally. He pulls it off with impressive dexterity, pausing only occasionally to take a breath. Through most of the track, the main vocal is joined by a harmonized double. It adds yet another cool layer to this really creative production.
