Every big decision starts with a decision to try. So I made up my mind and started to make the music that I loved and would really make people feel like listening to it.

“Dusk” is the new single from Om Rawte, released to all major streaming services on February 24, 2021. The track follows close behind his debut “Ceol.” Although he finds inspiration in mainstream Pop singers like Justin Bieber and Charlie Puth, the creative beat maker’s own sound is a wild mix of genres and techniques. He combines influences from disparate sources to create a cool multicultural instrumental groove.

A funky old-school Hip-hop beat introduces “Dusk.” Soon a low analog synth bass rumbles into the mix and is met by some smooth jazz piano. Over the course of the next two minutes the song shifts between Pop hooks, funk riffs and Indian melodies. Throughout the various stylistic transitions, Om Rawte maintains the tune’s breakbeat rhythm. The end result is a cool bit of experimental Jazz-hop that lends itself to repeated listens.
