Michael Burman’s Emotional New “I’m Alright”

Michael Burman is a multi-platinum songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His resume includes some of the biggest names in modern music. With credits in multiple genres he has worked on projects with artists like Carrie Underwood, YelaWolf, A$AP Rocky and Machine Gun Kelly.

“I’m Alright” is the debut single from Michael Burman as a solo artist, released worldwide to all major streaming services on January 12, 2021. The song is a Dark Pop stream of consciousness meditation featuring elements of ambient electronic music and emotional guitar driven Rock & Roll. It is a hypnotic sound, surreal and subconscious.

The song opens with an ethereal synths and reverb soaked electric guitar. Burman enters the mix with a whispered narrative, chronicling a vague sense of confusion as he searches for direction. As the song progresses it becomes more organic, with the addition of acoustic guitars and drums. Ultimately the song builds from a whisper to a scream. After a brief interlude in the bridge, the track builds in intensity once again. By the final verse we find the singer defiantly declaring “I’m Alright!” amid a sonic wall of guitars.
