FreeZe Neville is the professional name of aspiring Hip-Hop artist, Neville Sharma. Although the Canadian rapper from New Westminster, British Columbia is just 18 years-old, he has been doing his thing for over two years. He first began releasing his own original music when he was just 16 and still in 11th grade.
He got his start as an underground SoundCloud rapper. After early success on that platform he realized that his material was ready for a bigger stage. So, Neville moved his focus to a wider distribution and now releases all of his music to major streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
“Poppen” was FreeZe Neville’s first single which he dropped worldwide on February 13, 2019. Since it’s release the single has racked up nearly 100K streams and shows no signs of stopping. The track opens on a dramatic, minor key electric guitar loop. After a brief intro, Neville enters the mix rhyming over a slow and low Trap beat. With a cool, laid back vibe he rhymes about women, money and pills over a hypnotic downtempo groove.
