Flowcut is an aspiring Hip-hop artist from New Brunswick, New Jersey. He started out as DJ, performing at clubs and parties. However, he eventually caught the bug to create his own music. The artist debuted in 2020 with the confessional Emo Trap single “Difficult.” The emcee followed earlier this year with the harder rap of “Calling.” He says his mission in this new journey is simply to make music to which people can relate.
Music has always been a part of me and I know how much of an impact it can bring when listening to the right words!

“Playing Games” is his latest single, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 2, 2021. This time the rapper is slowing it down for a heartfelt tale about a relationship on the rocks. The song rolls on a sparse, downtempo beat featuring elements of Trap and Reggaeton. Flashes of Caribbean percussion and a trippy backing vocal sample give the song a psychedelic feel. Meanwhile, Flowcut delivers a melodic rap meditation on relationship confusion.
The song is already reacting with listeners around the world, with thousands of spins on services like Spotify and Apple Music. The video too is taking off with 11K views and climbing.
