Kiing Elijah
That’s where his new single “The L,O” comes in. The track is both a dedication to the grind and a shoutout to Kiing Elijah’s hometown. The name ‘L,O’ stands for ‘London, Ontario.’ The track opens with a phone call from Elijah’s girl who wants to know where he is. But Elijah’s not stepping out on her. He is just busy working on his music in the recording studio.
A mellow piano plays a jazzy minor-key tune in the background. When the beat drops, the piano remains and sets a cool dark mood to the tune. Then, over a laid back, classic 808 Trap beat Kiing Elijah leaves no question as to who is getting the job done in the 519. That is his goal, as he says in the song, “Doing everything I can just to put my city on the map.”
