King Sucre is a new singer on the international scene hailing from the Dominican Republic. After a handful of video releases on YouTube at the end of 2020, the talented young artist is making his worldwide debut with the single “Por Primera Vez” (for the first time), released to all major streaming services on March 1, 2021. Sucre counts Puerto Rican singer “Bad Bunny” as his primary influence and has ambitions to find the same level of success as his idol.
My plan for the future is become a great singer, to be recognized everywhere and represent where I came from.

“Por Primera Vez” is an infectiously catchy Latin Pop groove. A simple Pop piano chord progression introduces the track. As the singer enters the mix ambient synths float on the horizon. In short order the beat drops. A mellow Hip-hop dance rhythm with Reggaeton vibes and a cool EDM bass sets a chill mood for this laid back love song. Throughout the track King Sucre alternates between singing and a rapid-fire chopping rap.
