Adri is the professional name of Adriano Luchetti, or as his fans refer to him “The African King.” He was born and raised in Malini, Kenya in the small town of Maweni. The exciting young singer is of both Kenyan and Italian heritage. Now living and working in the UK, Adri is spreading his unique AfroPop vibe to the rest of the world.
He made his International debut in 2019 with the single “TAM TAM.” Since then he has gone on to release a series of successful singles as well as the 2020 EP “The African King.” His track “Contagious” has been blowing up with fans worldwide on multiple streaming and video platforms.
The song rolls on an infectious midtempo Afro Beat groove. Piano chords and a bed of smooth ambient synths float on the horizon. A deep and rumbling bass holds down the bottom as Adri delivers a soulful and fun vocal performance. This funky ode to the female form feels like a summer hit.
