Andrea Licciardo’s Powerful New Video

Andrea Licciardo

Andrea Licciardo is singer and songwriter from the Italian Island of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands north of Sicily. The 30 year-old singer made his international debut in 2018 with the single, “Gli Insegnamenti Della Tua Assenza.” Since then he has enjoyed a string of successful releases. The singer’s breakthrough hit was last year’s “Lipari” which to date has earned over 140K spins on Spotify.

“Quello che ho Scelto” (the one I chose) is the latest single from Andrea Licciardo. Released on December 20, 2020 the track is following closely in the footsteps of its predecessor with nearly 60K spins at Spotify and over 100K views of the song’s video on YouTube.  The powerful and emotional love song rides on a big, dramatic Electro-Pop and Alternative Rock hybrid vibe. The sound brings to mind some of the more cinematic work of artists like U2 or The Killers, the latter especially in the chorus. The bridge of the song breaks into an 80’s rock inspired riff that only adds to the dramatic feel.

It invites everyone to live in complete freedom, without hiding their moods and feelings, and to challenge people’s prejudices. Because at the end of the day, we are all equal: from poor to rich, from white to black, from heterosexual to homosexual, we must all be able to enjoy human rights, and we must oppose all forms of racism and discrimination.
