GiGi Vega is a singer, dancer and songwriter making big waves ever since her debut “Mistletoe Kisses” tore up the charts. That song rose to #3 on iTunes Dance Charts and reached #27 on Billboard Adult Contemporary Radio Charts. The song was also included on the soundtrack to the Netflix original holiday movie, “The App that Stole Christmas.”
Growing up in Boston, GiGi Vega has been involved in music and dance her entire life. Her earliest work as a child was in the theater. Then at age 12 she began writing her own music under the tutelage of her Jazz musician father. The multi-talented artist was even accepted to the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berklee before she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
“Watchu Tryna Do?” music video premiered worldwide on February 19, 2021. The smooth Pop/Dance track blends elements of R&B and EDM to create the perfect canvas for the young singer’s impressive talents. At times Vega takes her wide vocal range and angelic voice into stratospheric heights, while always maintaining that smooth tone. Through the verse she keeps it laid back and soulful as she warns her man not to play around. Meanwhile the chill, deep house flavored groove sets a mellow mood.
