Adria Dinev is a classically trained British-Bulgarian singer/songwriter who began singing since she first pushed herself to join choirs and bands at 4 years of age. By the time she was 13 she knew that she would have a musical life and enrolled in professional piano and vocal training.
In 2012, after studying Pop, Jazz and Classical music at Bulgaria’s National Music School Liubomir Pipkov, Adria moved to London to study Musical Performance at the prestigious Brunel University in London. Three years later she released her debut single and finally embarked on her lifelong dream of pursuing a career in Pop/Rock music.
“My Man” is the latest single from Adria Dinev, released worldwide to all major streaming platforms on April 22, 2021. The singer collaborated with producer Sean Kennedy for the romantic Pop/Rock track featuring airy ambient synths, deep bass tones and a downtempo groove. Adria cites US singer Banks and British Rock group Sleep Token as inspiration for the track. We hear their influence here as the singer delivers brooding and sexy ode to her lover.
Since her debut, the award winning artist has enjoyed success in both music and film work. “My Man” is her latest in a series of singles that mark her triumphant return to music after a 2018 illness temporarily sidelined her singing career.
