DCxPC Live Volume 2 Presents: TV Generation & The Sinema

On “DCxPC Live Volume 2,” Orlando Rockers Join Forces To Benefit Their Favorite Club

2020 was not a good year to own a live music venue. Across the country clubs shuttered their doors, some permanently. Those that have survived so far have done so largely thanks to devoted fans and patrons in their communities. In Orlando, Florida a group of Punk and Metal musicians have come together to help keep their beloved hometown Rock & Roll mecca alive.

Uncle Lou’s is the CBGB of Orlando. For years the club has been home to the city’s vibrant Independent music scene. Punk, Hardcore, Metal and Indie bands of all flavors have found an audience on Lou’s stage. This month, the newly established ‘DCxPC Live’ record label is releasing a live album from the club. All proceeds will go directly to Uncle Lou’s.

‘DCxPC Live’ is the brainchild of friends and bandmates Mr. P and Mike Hellbound. Both veterans of the East Coast Punk scene, they originally launched their joint venture to book and promote live shows. However, the pandemic put a halt to that business. So the enterprising rockers decided to turn their promotion company into a record label. However, in keeping with the theme of their original business model, DCxPC Live will release only live recordings.

“DCxPC Live Volume 2 Presents: TV Generation & The Sinema” is a split live album from Orlando Punk band TV Generation and hardcore Metal act The Sinema. All of the money from sales will go to support Uncle Lou’s. As of 5/14/21 the record is available for pre-order now via Bandcamp. Patrons will receive two tracks now plus the complete album the moment it’s released on May 21, 2021.

TV Generation is a four-piece band that formed in 2006. Over the years the group has seen a number of lineup changes. The current mononymous roster includes Alex on vocals, Jorge on drums, Billy on bass and Jerry on guitar. Appropriately, their first single release from the joint album is “Uncle Lou’s,” a tribute to their favorite club. The song is a fun old school punk jam that brings to mind classic Sex Pistols-inspired 80’s hardcore.

The Sinema is a four piece Metal band that took their current form in 2018. With Steven P on drums, Josh Sin on vocals, George D on guitar and Scotty C on bass, the group is known for their Metalcore power and theatrical performances. The band was voted “Best Metal Act” by readers of The Orlando Weekly in 2020. Their initial release from “DCxPC Live Volume 2 Presents: TV Generation & The Sinema” is the politically fueled “RAID.”
