Vyking is a rapper, producer and beatmaker from Toronto, Canada. The multifaceted artist has been making music for years. He’s worked on both sides of the board on his own music and that of many others. He first started creating beats back in 2013. However, his musical journey began in childhood when he got his first drum set.
As a producer he has worked with a number of other artists over the years. His primary collaborators these days are Ziggie Ferguson, Roseyysixx, and Arboreal J. The rapper made his debut as a solo artist in 2020 with a series of singles. He has released four songs to date under the Vyking moniker.
“Can’t Complain” is the latest single from Vyking, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 25, 2021. The track opens with a mix of orchestral instruments which become the primary melodic element in the mix. A stark Trap beat drops with ultra-deep bass hits. Meanwhile the rapper drops rapid-fire bars in an ode dedicated to the grind. It’s a great sound from a multi-talented artist.
Creating this project was inspired by keeping track of your goals. Making money and not complaining about the situation you’re in. A lot of people take the shortcuts to get money… It’s important to know that people get their dreams by any means. But to stay true to you at the same time. Fight through adversity!
