Zavier is an independent singer, songwriter, producer and actor from New York City. He made his debut as a musical artist earlier this year with the release of his single “Gotta Pass.” He followed shortly thereafter with the four song EP “One Thing About Me (Deluxe). His sound is a mellow mix of R&B/Pop tunes and downtempo Emo Trap grooves.
“I Stand Alone” is the latest single from Zavier, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 15, 2021. The track is set to a chill, Lo-fi beat with ambient synths and some cool percussive sub-rhythms. Over that laid-back groove he delivers trippy Dream-Pop vocals awash in a psychedelic mix of effects. Lyrically the track deals with the disappointment of false friends and the singer’s ultimate decision to fend for himself.
“I Stand Alone” is about bad friends who couldn’t make up their mind whether they wanted to stand with me or not. But I couldn’t wait for them to figure it out so I decided to stand alone.
