Kay-Liah is the professional name of emerging Pop/R&B singer Kayliah Naomi Stobbs. Originally from Falmouth Gardens in Trelawny, Jamaica, the talented 16 year-old spent much of her life in the United States. However she moved back to her home country after tragically losing her father in 2019.
Although Kay-Liah is still in high school, she is well on her way to an impressive career in music. Recently signed to Eastsyde Records, the young artist has already begun connecting with fans worldwide. Singing since she learned how to talk, Stobbs’ soulful soprano delivers deep emotion and a lyrical maturity beyond her years.
“Broken” is the latest single and video from Kay-Liah, released worldwide to all major streaming services on February 3, 2021. Rolling on a lo-fi Trap beat peppered with Dancehall percussion, the track features psychedelic ambient synths and subtle, low bass tones. At the heart of the mix is the singer’s soulful vocal.
