Boi-bert is an up and coming Hip-hop artist who made his debut in 2020. On his inaugural EP the rapper from Oakwood Heights in Staten Island, NY introduced an impressive lyrical rap style. His music mixes a rhythmic, syncopated flow with unexpected word associations and creative use of beats from across the Hip-hop spectrum. Working with a number of producers he combines old-school and new-school rhymes with modern Trap beats and experimental sampling.

The song is a hard rap over slow and low Trap beat with deep, subwoofer thumping bass paired with a dark and hypnotic backing track.
Producer DXOR lays down a trippy beat with sci-fi worthy keys and effects. He uses ambient synths and psychedelic backward recordings to create an ominous mood for the rapper. Meanwhile Boi-Bert drops an impressive freestyle that alternates between Hip-hop posturing and deep introspection. In a steady non-stop flow he drops witty rhymes and clever wordplay about his friends, foes, and female acquaintances.
