Jail888 is a 15 year-old up and coming Hip-hop artist from Paris, France. The rapper is making his debut this year. His first single “High” was released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 29, 2021. The song marks the first public step of the young artist’s musical journey which started in a recording studio just two months ago.
The track opens with percussive EDM keys and some trippy processed vocal samples. Ambient synths expand the horizon as Jail888 enters the mix with a smooth and laid back technique. A mellow Trap beat drops as the rapper drops bars in French, extolling the virtues of making music and not being sober. Throughout the track he introduces cool analog synth solos and various psychedelic effects. All the while he continues to deliver his rhymes in a very chill flow.
