Zohh is the professional name of emerging Hip-hop artist Damieon Miles. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the 28 year-old entrepreneur, rapper and songwriter has lived throughout the South and West. Coming up, at various times he called Southern California, Las Vegas and Memphis home.
Although he has been heavily involved in sports since childhood, growing up he always found a way to work on his music. For instance, in college he recorded mixtapes on a karaoke machine between football practices and games. He describes his style as equal parts ratchet and conscious, mixing a party vibe with thought-provoking lyrics. Zohh counts the legends of Hip-hop as his primary influences; Ludacris, 2pac, Lil Wayne , Drake and Nipsey Hussle.
“XXXtra’d Out” is the latest single from Zohh and his first of 2021, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 16. The tune mixes classic 90’s West Coast gangsta vibes with a modern Trap groove. P-Funk/Dr. Dre-style analog synths play a mellow melody over the hard bounce of 808 bass hits. Meanwhile the rapper has some fun dropping X-rated bars as he explains to his lady exactly what he has planned when she comes over to the crib. He has a smooth flow and a playful style. Although the lyrics are definitely NSFW, the overall vibe of the song is fun and laid back.
