Apricity Drops New Rock Anthem Zombie Flick

Apricity Drops New Rock Anthem Zombie Flick 1

Apricity is an Ontario, Canada based singer/songwriter who made her debut in a big way late last year with the big Rock sound and Dark Pop vibes of the single “All My Lies.” To date, the song’s horror-movie themed video has earned over 160K views. The newfound success is the realization of a dream come true for the Scottish born songstress, who has been singing since grade school and is now making a go of it as a professional musician.

“The Fear” is the brand new sophomore single from Apricity, released worldwide on June 11, 2021. Once again the singer has paired an anthemic Rock song with a gory cinematic premise. The brilliantly shot Zombie themed short film opens with a black and white scene that immediately brings to mind the mother of all undead flicks, “Night of the Living Dead.” The video then shifts to a Walking Dead theme, complete with railroad tracks, comic book captions and chained battle zombies.

With the horror movie backdrop, Apricity wields her impressive voice to tell a tale of self doubt while facing the uncertainty of love. Layers of guitar and bass melodies create a 90’s Alternative vibe over a slow Modern Rock groove. Apricity’s remarkable vocal range and apparently limitless sustain pack a powerful emotional punch. It’s a great sound from a top notch band and an exceptionally talented singer.
