He also makes time for his own music and has released a steady string of singles as PunisherSOUND over the last 5 years.

“Warriors” is the latest single and video from PunisherSOUND, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 9, 2021. The song is a slow, hard rap with a passionate message of defiance. The video opens with the artist battling, both figuratively and literally, with the television as he watches his fellow Sikhs being physically assaulted by authorities.

The song’s central melodic element then enters the mix. It is a low and dramatic violin playing a downtempo melancholy riff. Soon the beat drops in the form of a Lo-fi old-school Boom Bap beat and some deep bass hits. Punisher mixes in some new-school as well with some tastefully deployed Trap hi-hats. The slow groove creates a stark and dramatic mood as the perfect backdrop for the rapper’s testimony of his people’s resolve against oppression.
