The Colour Fools’ Upbeat Vibes – Let’s Dance

the colour fools

The Colour Fools are an international indie band based in Barcelona, Spain. The band members hail from all over the world; Argentina, Italy, Poland and Russia. They work in name of a simple mission, to transmit good vibes and positive energy. They do so with a unique blend of Rock, Pop, Funk and Blues

The history of The Colour Fools is steeped in mythology. As the story is told, two world travelers met in Barcelona. Self-described Russian tree-hugger Igor and the Argentinian travelling shaman Pablo compared notes from their wanderings as they discussed life, philosophy and music. Finding common ground in all areas they decided, “to create a new religious music band that would elevate people‚Äôs consciousness and spread love across time and space.”

The duo became a trio with the addition of drummer and ‘young Italian pasta chef,’ Nico. Their ranks were further augmented by Polish classical pianist Aleksandra. The Colour Fools were complete and they got down to the business of making music and making people happy. The group made their entrance onto the international stage in 2021 with the release of two brand new singles.

“Let’s Dance” is the debut single from The Colour Fools released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 29, 2021. An infectious dance track, the song rolls on an organic lo-fi Funk. A slick Disco-fueled bass and drum groove drives the tune as funky guitar riffs, a smooth electric piano and classic James Brown-style horns weave a rich and soulful tapestry. Lyrically the song mixes some quirky observations and a bit of psychedelic poetry for a mellow call to the dancefloor. In the bridge the singer kicks into a groovy rap that brings to mind the Blondie classic, “Rapture.”
