Abian is the professional name of singer, songwriter and music producer Fabian Liss-Svedlund. Born and raised in Rättvik, Dalarna in the heart of Sweden, as a young artist he was inspired by his family and the beauty of nature. Growing up he was surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest and lakes of the Swedish countryside. At home, Jazz filled the air.
He honed his skills on piano with the guidance of his musician father, who taught the boy to play the hits of the day. Eventually Abian enrolled in music school. There he studied drums and played in bands with his friends. After an early focus on Jazz, the adventurous artist experimented with multiple musical genres. Ultimately he found his way to electronic music.
In 2021 Abian makes his international recording debut. “Go With the Flow” is his first single, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 1. The tune combines infectiously catchy Pop melody with breezy, upbeat EDM vibes. A chill House beat meets syncopated rhythmic electronic elements. In the verse he flexes his keyboard muscles a bit for some nice ambient synths and melodic piano. Lyrically he delivers a bit of Zen wisdom, advocating for an easy-going mindfulness in a perfect radio-ready Pop tenor. He encourages himself to disregard worry, trust his instincts and go with the flow.
‘Go With The Flow’ is about not complicating things. Not thinking too much, instead trust and listen to yourself. Then everything will work out just fine.
