Ria Rania is the professional name of rapper, singer, songwriter and actress Racquel Service. The 28 year-old former beauty queen was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She competed in beauty pageants in high school. After graduating she attended acting school on a scholarship, eventually moving to Los Angeles to work as an actress where she found stage, tv and film roles.
By 2015, Ria had moved back to Florida and resumed her participation in beauty pageant competitions. She won the “Miss Fort Lauderdale USA” title that year. Over the next three years she finished top 10 in the ‘Miss Universe Jamaica’ beauty pageant and won the title Miss icool 2018 winning over $30,000 in cash & prizes. With that momentum she launched her music career.
Since her debut Ria Rania has dropped over a dozen singles and reached Hip-hop fans across the world. Her videos pull in tens of thousands of viewers. “Oh Nah” is the latest video from Ria Rania.
