Jaguilera is an up and coming Hip-hop artist from Port St. Lucie, Florida. Since his debut in 2018 the prolific 21 year-old has released three dozen singles and a full length album. His ambitious work ethic is more driven than that of a typical rapper. From an early age, music represented an escape from a difficult life.
Born in Cuba, as a child Jaguilera immigrated with his family first to Spain and then eventually to the United States. They moved frequently. Eventually he found music. What started as a coping mechanism became a passion. The young artist embraced his unique perspective and created a whole new vibe. On his latest single, he wears that uniqueness on his sleeve.
“Menace” is the latest single from Jaguilera, released worldwide on June 27, 2021. Over a hard Trap beat and a psychedelic backing track, the rapper lays out the premise, “When I was young I was a prodigy. Now I’m a menace to society.” He then drops a track that is one part Drill rap and one part Hip-hop posturing. But there is more to his rhymes than just bragging.
I’m calling myself a menace to society because I feel like I break the norm. I’ve always wanted to think outside of the box and this song showcases that.
