My Silent Bravery is the professional name of independent artist and producer Matthew Wade. A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, Matt first launched his music career after a sports injury cut short his athletic plans. Since his 2007 debut “Uncharted Territory” the prolific singer/songwriter has released a dozen more albums and twice as many singles. In that time he has connected with fans worldwide and received praise from the likes of Billboard magazine for his radio-ready vocals, catchy melodies and uplifting positive message.
“Without Love” is the latest single from My Silent Bravery, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 25, 2021. The song is a contemplative acoustic Rock track that examines the phenomenon of loveless relationships. With a sound that lands somewhere between 90’s Alternative Rock and 70’s Acoustic Pop, MSB questions the modern romantic model.
An ethereal electric guitar floats in the periphery as Wade sings over a beautiful, melodic acoustic guitar chord progression, “Tell me how you live without love, Tell me how it’s gonna be enough.” The track was produced by Russell Ali & Sanjoy Deb (Jaden Hossler, Mark Tuan, Elliot Yamin). It was co-written with Trevor Holmes (American Idol, The Bachelor) and was recorded at West Coast Customs Studios in Burbank, California, made famous by the TV show “Pimp My Ride.”
When I wrote this song with my buddy Trevor, I think we both had been through our fair share of flings and were feeling jaded on dating, especially in the new dating app world. I think we wrote a very real and raw song questioning dating norms in today’s swipe happy culture.
