Izaiah JAE is the professional name of Maryland-based Hip-hop artist, Didier Stephan Jean-Philippe. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and raised in the United States, the rapper first found an interest in music production in high school through the influence of his older brother. The young Didier took to it immediately and was soon making hit records.
Back in the day he went by the name of Young Scholar and performed as one half of the Hip-hop duo Y.B.S. The group got their first taste of success with a song placement on the NFL network. However, they eventually split. Jean-Philippe took a break from music for a while to focus on his personal life. The rapper returned in 2018 as Izaiah JAE with the release of his single “Baddie Alert.” Once again the industry took notice and the song landed a placement on the STARZ hit TV show “P-Valley.” Since then he has released three more singles and continues to connect with Hip-hop fans around the globe.
“ELEMENT” is the latest single from Izaiah JAE, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 21, 2021. Over a hard Trap groove and deep 808 bass hits, the rapper declares his dominance with some classic Hip-hop posturing. The real star of the show is Izaiah JAE’s impressive chopping rap flow. With a rapid-fire attack he delivers great lines like, “I’m spitting like this is a gun.” If so, it’s a machine gun, and it’s fast.
